Proud Catholic Company (a.k.a. PCC) is family run and mission-driven by The Martinez Family; dad, mom & 6 kids. Our products and services answer the call of New Evangelization instituted by St. John Paul II, fostered by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and continued today by Pope Francis.
After experiencing a personal encounter with Jesus which lead to a major conversion of their Catholic faith in 2007, both John & Stacie Martinez felt Divine Providence urging them to use their experience from the fashion industry of NYC no longer to glorify themselves, but to glorify the Lord. Proud Catholic Company was born in early 2008 with the "Proud to be Catholic" car magnet and the "Must You See to Believe?" t-shirt.
The spread of the Gospel is not guaranteed either by the number of persons, or by the prestige of the institution, or by the quantity of available resources. What counts is to be permeated by the love of Christ, to let oneself be led by the Holy Spirit and to graft one’s own life onto the tree of life, which is the Lord’s Cross.—Pope Francis, Homily, Mass with Seminarians and Novices, July 7, 2013
PCC was born out of pure Love for the Lord. Just as we are proud of our children out of Love, so are we proud to be Catholic. Proud out of Love for Jesus, Holy Mother Church, The Sacraments - what gifts He has left us here on earth to help guide and direct us on our journey to our eternal home with Him in paradise. PCC is mission driven and fosters the New Evangelization through the medium of apparel, graphics and other printed products. PCC is small and family run and its products are designed to encourage and empower Catholics so they can live out their faith. Through their own branded products to their custom designed logos & graphics, custom printed apparel, custom embroidery, banners and other services, PCC is called to serve and give glory to God through their work. Please pray for our mission. We are praying for you too. Thank you and God Bless You!
The New Evangelization calls each of us to deepen our faith, believe in the Gospel message and go forth to proclaim the Gospel. The focus of the New Evangelization calls all Catholics to be evangelized and then go forth to evangelize. In a special way, the New Evangelization is focused on 're-proposing' the Gospel to those who have experienced a crisis of faith. Pope Benedict XVI called for the re-proposing of the Gospel "to those regions awaiting the first evangelization and to those regions where the roots of Christianity are deep but who have experienced a serious crisis of faith due to secularization." The New Evangelization invites each Catholic to renew their relationship with Jesus Christ and his Church. - USCCB
